Autobahns???
Easier to make one model that does all speeds than many models for different speeds, plus the top speed tends to be a combinatiopn of gearing and capable engine power. This gives the car better acceleration, handling but also has the by product of better top speed.
It's still people that break the laws not the cars
You don't see us fining the cars for breaking the speed limit
