I joined Virgin as I was with Sky and could get 1-2mb broadband speed

I joined the 10mb option and after complaining I could get little better than Sky they put me up to 20mb free for 6 months.

At present a month later I am lucky to get 3mb. I have done all the speed improvements, and spent hours on the phone. The checker services shows no one around my area with anywhere near 10mb, so me thinks Virgin are guilty under the TDA for misleading customers

One support guy did say they had a problem and were "upgrading" a fact denied by later calls - maybe I should got back to Sky, I understand by BT exchange is being upgraded in a few weeks and can guaraantee at least 10mb and maybe 20mb.

Frankly 5mb is good for me - not a lot to ask for. But why pay 20mb prices to NOT get it?
