If you're nowhere near ending your contract you will hold no sway over whether they give you a discount or not.

So seing as VIP isn't as good value as it used to be why not just give everyone a £7 discount for 6 months while they hash out the new vip offer nd then if anyone wants the HD channels they can get them.
