Premium HD has always been free with Virgin. ESPN HD is certainly a premium channel and was added at no cost to XL / VIP customers. I think this is why so many people are angry at this sudden change policy from Virgin. Making SKY Movies HD and SKY Sports HD avaliable to it's customers should have been a great moment for Virgin but instead it's turning into a nightmare. I think the upset customers out number the happy ones by a 10 to 1.

It doesn't matter how many times Virgin try to explain it away, the HD is free advertising campaign will bite them in the bum big time. Too many people feel misled. It's certainly not going to improve customer loyalty.
