My fiance is German, and it would be great if we could get acces to German channels such as ZDF, RTL etc.

I'll answer you, even if it means discussing something that is "coming soon" and not a pricing issue that should be in another thread !
At this time, from what we can see, VM are not going to add any more foreign language channels. This is a shame as I think it would be useful for education purposes - I watch TV5 to help me with my French.
You could try an online player such as Livestation to stream channels to your PC
