I was just reading over the channel 5 announcement again:
"HD channels from the BBC, ITV, STV (in Scotland), Channel 4 and now Five are all included in every Virgin Media TV tier and so are available to any Virgin TV customer who can receive High Definition programming. All other basic HD channels are added to the largest TV tier (‘XL’) for no additional monthly subscription."
Is this the first time Virgin have referred to channels such as E4HD, Eurosport HD and SYFY HD as "basic HD channels"?
Yeah I'm finally convinced that SKY Sports and SKY Movies are coming as "Premium" channels and XL customers will be billed just like everyone else. I know it's already been mentioned but I'm trying to live in denial
