Unlike some others in this thread I don't think that Sky are about to scrap the extra HD charge. That being the case they are never going to sell them to VM for far less than they charge their own customers. If they did that VM would be able to undercut them and that is a situation Sky would never allow. Sky didn't get where they are today by acting like a charity.
