If I have to pay an extra charge for SKY Sports and SKY Movies HD I won't be too happy. Once a simulcast HD version of a channel has been launched I never watch the SD version. I haven't once watched a programme on STV, Channel 4 or E4 since the HD versions came along.

What I can't understand is why you should have to pay for 2 versions of the same channel. Once the HD Movie channels launch I'll never watch any of the SD versions, same goes for SKY Sports 1 & 2. Why should I pay to receive channels I'll never watch in order to receive the HD version?

I wouldn't mind paying for the HD versions if I could drop the SD versions from my subscription, and save some money.
