It was obvious from the second that agreement was made with VM that sky would have contingency plans in place, I said then that they would make more use of Sky sports 3 and 4 in hd. Sky are the dominant provider when it comes to sport and they intend to stay that way.

So you think they would banish the England cricket internationals to SKY SP 3 & 4 in favour of SPL games ???? Not on your nelly. Of course there still may be some SPL games on 3 or 4, but after the cricket has finished there will be games back on 1, more likely 2 when they fit in with the schedule

I maintain my initial thoughts.....but at the end of the day, SKY are entitled to schedule the SPL or anything else where ever they see it fits their business model, just as VIRGIN will fit channels into whatever package they see fits the business and what possibly will generate the most income/profitability for them....its the way business works you know.
