VM are a carrage company its their duty to customers to offer them as much content thats available, if they cant to that then VM clearly are not doing their job right. it will be more to do with the fact that VM are unwilling to pay the carrage charge rather than dont know about ESPN America HD.
saying all this i would of thought the ESPN America HD would of been automatically added to the ESPN package especially as VM have a special carrage contract. it strage the VM are either not bothered about carrying the channel or ESPN are insisting that ESPN America HD becomes a premium pay channel with VM.

How do we know that VM are not already in negotiations with ESPN? Infact I would say that they hae to be.
The same thing happened last year with ESPNHD, $KY announced the carriage deal but VM stayed silent until they suddenly trumped $KY by saying they have secured the deal to offer it free to XL. It could be that VM are working for the same thing.
