Re: Sound out of synch on BBC HD

Just tried it on Springwatch. It may be very slightly out but by such a small amount it does not bother me.

I note that, according to my amplifier, this programme is in 5.1 (not many are).

I have my V+ connected by digital cable to quite an old Yamaha amplifier and then on to 5 speakers and a subwoofer. It works very well.

One thing I have noticed on BBC HD ever since it launched is that the announcer between programmes comes over with an echo to my set up. I have been told this is because the voice transmits to both the centre and two front speakers. I have tried adjusting the front speaker time delay but it makes no difference.

If you are using a digital sound cable from V+ to amplifier, I assume your TV sound is turned off and HDMI audio override on V+ settings is ON.
