DF, I tried to PM you with an off-topic question about caller display but it was rejected! I can think of understandable reasons why this might be but is there an alternative way to ask you this question or a suitable thread to post it in where you will see it?

I have successfully registered at Sports and movies like you've never seen them before using e-mail addresses of the form:-

  1. firstname.lastname@ntlworld.com
  2. firstname_lastname@ntlworld.com

In each case, firstname and lastname are five characters in length.
