I plan on running RJ45 - UTP cable throughout my house etc. I have experience doing this before.
Anyway thats not the issue. I am trying to find some decent cable boxes etc. Ideally i want the ones that go on the outside of the wall (like the phone sockets) as i dont really want to have to hack out walls etc. So some suggestions would be brill! Thats my main issue
How well do cables play near copper heat pipes? I'm thinking of slinging foam insulation around them etc.
I will only be running CAT5E cable as i don't see the need for CAT6 and its a bugger to wire into the jacks anyway
Any other issues i should look out for etc?
