We were not the victims of block voting, we were the victims of a BBC production that, for some reason, really didn't seem to give two short smegs about Eurovision this year. The "Your Country Needs You" show that was screened earlier this year was absolutely abysmal, from the half dozen utter no-hoper acts that were booked, to the studio production itself: cheap, nasty and with a very obvious lack of rehearsal time. Even the silver-tongued Norton kept tripping over his lines and missing his cues.

It wasn't a good song or performance... the winner was a bit crap too though... the vocals were a bit dodgy!
