If I got someone else to do it, I would not have gained any knowledge or insight. 
imho, management is about appropriate direction, delegation, and oversight (without abrogation of responsibility), leadership is about knowing where you want to go, and taking others along with you - if I had got someone else to write it, I would have been not taking responsibility for my own learning.
