well if she had asked the councils permission amd followed all relavent 'elf 'n safety then she may have got away with it
,or as the title suggests is this story just the media blowing it up into something it wasn't because it involved a few st georges' cross flags being removed from lamp posts ,and given the other flags she was allowed to keep up i don't think she was hard done by
