"Mr Sheridan, who faced criticism last year after claiming expenses for a 42-inch plasma TV, said: 'I didn't enter politics to make money but neither did I enter politics to subsidise my job.'

Will have to convince my boss of the need for petrol expenses because I am not working there to subsidise the job.
