Any idea of the make/model of the router.
Can you not get to the login screen for said router by typing the address in the address bar?

Try running a CMD (cmd in search box for 7/Vista, Start->Run type in cmd and press enter in XP) prompt and putting in ipconfig /all

This should give you the network details. As Rob mentioned above you are looking for the Default Gateway XXX.XXX.X.X
