Just a quick update eveyone. Finally got around to doing it this afternoon. Managed to locate the original driver disc so connected the printer via the parallel port and gave it a whirl. All done in less than 2 mins with no hassle....
The supplied driver seems to work fine as I've printed a number of documents already and there have been no issues. Touch wood of course.....
