I think 15hrs is a too short an amount of time to vote and this should be raised to 36 or 48 hours rather than the " I want it now" type of voting.
15 hours is absolutely tonnes of time. It has worked that way for decades and there is no reason why it couldn't have worked this time.

Doubtless there were cock ups, and heads should roll, however it turned out last night that the Angry Old Woman the Beeb interviewed - and replayed endlessly for the next 3-4 hours - had gone down to he local polling station at 6pm and didn't fancy the queue. She went home, had another look at the queue at 7, 8 and 9pm, and only thought it might be a good idea to join the line at 9.15pm. Surprise, surprise, the door was slammed in her face at 10pm, as legally it must be.
