Let's be clear that the Lib Dems have not necessarily got a poorer showing yet. We need to see the share of the popular vote and key marginals could go their way. We have no clear idea of the swing across the country at the moment and there may be no clear swing with seats going all over the place.

If Lib dems have significantly increased their vote and get less seats then that might cause some trouble.
