As long as people ONLY vote for who they believe will get to Westminster the status quo will never change. It would be pointless for anyone living in a "Safe" seat to bother voting against the incumbent MP - hardly democratic. Yes my (non Tory) vote may be worthless locally but on a national level it will highlight the unfair system we have.

The current voting system is totally flawed and unless people vote for who they really want to see we will continue to be governed by either the Tories or Labour based on a MINORITY of the populations choice.

Why should a third of the country decide who governs us? This is what the present system get us.
