The trouble is if Berbatov was signed as a man to get you goals then someone must have seen something different. The stats show that he has never been a prolific scorer in the premiership. I understand what your saying about him missing crucial chances that could have given you 3 points, but wasn`t that why Michael Owen was signed?.............Oh wait
Finding a player who regularly changes the course of a game is tough, look at Liverpool without Gerrard or Torres, Arsenal without Fabregas or Van Persie, Man U without Rooney or Vidic and Chelsea without Drogba or Lampard.
Personally i think it`s the bulgarian mentality because Petrov is pretty much of the same mould, whereas players from Croatia/Serbia, etc, seem to be able to concentrate that bit more!
