Nope for legal trademark reasons Google can't use Gmail everywhere, other companies in some countries have the Gmail trademark already, and named the service Google Mail instead. Zero difference between them apart from that and the domains are interchangeable.

No, no and no respectively. They're outsourcing the mail to Google, not converting your mail into a free GMail box. You won't be part of Buzz, contacts won't be sent around the world and Google won't be serving you ads based on the content of your mails.
You'll be on
Google Apps, not GMail.
