Not only have the Belgians given us half decent chocolate but they've excelled themselves by protecting us from terrorism by proposing that those who break the law (by wearing a full faced veil) could face a fine of 15-25 euros (£13-£27) or a seven-day jail sentence.

The prospect of a £27.00 fine or a seven day jail sentence - levied in Belgium - will undoubtedly make any veil wearing muslim think twice about being the first ever, hitherto unproven veil wearing female muslim terrorist to be apprehended on uk soil whilst planning, pre-empting or having carried out a terrorist attack.


Reuters are reporting that being a potential hitherto unidentified "veil wearing potential (see hypothetical) female muslim terrorist" is considerably less risk averse than not being a "veil wearing potential (see: hypothetical) female muslim terrorist. They even have the dead reporters to prove it.
