You have to feel sorry for the Pompey fans who have followed there team through the ridiculous ups and downs of the past several months. It just seems that any spiv with a story has been able to worm his way in with promises of untold riches!
There are probably a few clubs that would find themselves in dire straits if they where to fall out of the premiership, even with the parachute payments and this surely cannot be a good thing. The trouble is, the cash-cow that is the premier league is still producing plenty of milk for those in the right positions.
All these American `investors` aren`t in it for the love of the game, they only wan`t to line their pockets!
