Which, I am told, is nowhere near as bad as most of Turkey.. I can't drive, but I've been to Turkey and it does seem as though the traffic rules are optional. Especially those regarding lanes.
Turkey is actually bad enough that one of my friends (who has many years experience driving in London, and is usually a fast driver) says he is terrified of driving in Turkey.

ROFLMAO, like we've never heard that before Stuart
btw, the North does consist of more than one city, contrary to what some people think
I've had the pleasure of driving in Turkey and will do so again later on in the year, apart from the lack of road (mainly dust tracks between villages) and lack of road sense, its not so bad. I've driven in both Icmeler and Gumbet/Bodrum, the latter being the most exciting

This time I'll be driving from Bodrum Airport to Akbuk which is near to Altinkum.
