Absolute rubbish, Sky are very expensive and it is only other broadcastors that sell it cheaper to attract more customers, the PL is the most lucrative league in the world for money, IF Sky pulled out tomorrow, then there would be loads of interest from other companies to take over.  |
The amount of reliance on Sky's TV money and the
level of debt and reliance on sugar daddies amongst the clubs says otherwise. The
Premier League themselves along with
several other sports bodies also say otherwise.
Sky is not 'very expensive' given the investment in content, and regardless the issue isn't Sky's retail prices.
