Just been listening to Blair banging on about how well New Labour have done (well he's done very nicely out of it so I guess he would be positive).

Apparently Gordon Brown's glad of the support of his former boss, probably because of the influence he still wields with some sections of the electorate. Given his recent outbursts regarding Lord Ashcroft, I wonder if Brown's at all concerned about where Blair pays his tax or does the question of influence and tax status only matter when it applies to political opponents?
