Arsenal have cleared a very good slice of the debt from their stadium, which was already turning profits because the increased gate receipts covered the interest + payments. Although the sale of £40 million worth of players (well, "worth") helped. It seems impossible Munich could afford the stadium and £80 of gate receipts when their prices are lower than Arsenal who still have outstanding debt despite what I mentioned above.
As for United their finances are a joke. I am glad the fans noticed after the bond issues were released. It's incredible. Liverpool have debt but it's nothing compared to United who, even given their
huge profit making ability, needed the sale of a £80 million pound player to make a profit of £40 million. None of the losses included paying back any of the debt which has continued to increase and now the debt payments are increasing. It's a joke. How the FA ever let those morons take over the club is beyond me.
