Well Martin Whitmarsh said that it was Jenson's choice, so Jenson's choice it was. Putting it any other way is just semantics. Also he didn't decide he was going to get tyres, he merely decided when he wanted them, added to the fact he/everybody started on intermediates only he would know if the combination of track condition and his own driving style at a given point would be compatible with slick tyres.

As to Hamilton, I would agree that he seems to have developed his arrogant streak more, I put it like that as IMHO he's always had it. It's just with his dad not managing him anymore I get the feeling that there's nothing to supress it.

.........and when is Mark Webber going to learn to drive, or is he practicing for the kamekaze version of F1.

I'm just gratefull that Alonso showed himself up at the start, and that he didn't cause any damage to JB.
