Try asking for a referendum on anything.we only got rid of the poll tax because of the riots.
I reckon I dislike our current 'government' more intensely than most but you're not seriously comparing the electoral system here with that in Afghanistan or Zimbabwe are you? It's odd that you praise the integrity and supremacy of strike ballots yet claim our other elections are all somehow invalid...
