This is not the first time that this person has tried to imply that those that dont agree that we should be happy to wait are being childish (or similar such sentiments)..... If I choose to take offence I will, to paraphrase devilincarnate him or herself that is my choice.
If we all role over and accept that it is OK to be shafted, then we will continue to be shafted... we should stand up for ourselves and say it is unfair..... Oh hang on I forgot, we british dont do that!!.
If you read my other posts, I accept that a protest probably wont make any difference, and actualy I dont really care too much about HD. BUT it IS unfair and to just say OH well we cant do anything about it continues to perpetuate a general feeling of let them do what they want.
I am paying for this service and I have every right to be ticked off if I am being treated unfairly. I object to being likened to a child just because I am standing up for what I believe in.

I have just read your post that says if people are not happy we should contact Virgin and let them know how we feel.... That has been done with no acceptable outcome (no info about when headend will be upgraded and a flat refusal to reduce subscription for the period that I am not receiving the same service as others).
