Everyone should be getting VOD now, have you phoned and asked them what the issue is?

As for convincing you, they'll still be normal tv, so don't worry. But the golden nugget to come is being able to watch whatever we want when we want. Although those of us with good broadband connections and access to "proper" usenet, can do it already.
