OP - you are connected to a Motorola BSR. There are a few issues with BSRs noted at this time and I would recommend you check this forum for some more information on those I suspect it's that issue and is a known one. In some instances some modems lose connection and cannot regain it until powercycled.

This is not a common issue but has been seen in a few areas. I recommend using the newsgroups as a way to reach out to support. When you check your modem logs this issue tends to manifest as T3 / T4 timeouts.
