I am having the same problem. I am only receiving very delayed emails every now and then. I have had problems for a few days. It seems clear that it is VirginMedia at fault (again).
I totally agree with jls. I cannot understand why they cannot update the status page but instead leave their customers to ring them up, search forums or start pulling their hair out. It is ridiculous.
Do they like us ringing them up? Also, I am a bit tired of these problems that keep recurring with no information. I want a reliable email service that actually delivers email straight away. Over the past year I have had loads of emails that could have been sent/received quicker via the Royal Mail - and that really is saying something.
Today I have booked a hotel and made a purchase online - no email confirmations received. Also, my business email address is re-directed to my blueyonder email. Absolutely rubbish service and very poor customer information. Not happy.
