I remember asking the same before I joined Orange (after Demon's home office restricted me :rolleye
Four month later I started getting warning letters telling me that I was breaking thier FUP (fair usage policy) with no comments as to how much I was downloading

I hence restricted myself to 40gb a month (metered) apparently this was also breakign thier fup and they restricted me to half a meg down in the daytime..
There's no such thing as unlimited and any ISP will restict you one way or another as thier FUP bypasses all promises and is in 99.9999% of contracts
