The point is you can't really say it's devalued when things are moved down, without also saying it's value has risen when things are added. It all evens out to the point that XL still holds considerable more value than L. Infact I'd say that XL today is worth far more over L than the XL of 3 years ago.

Annual price increases generally have nothing to do with added content and everything to do with inflation.
but that is what you would expect if you are paying for the top tier you expect to be given priority over new channels. you wouldnt expect to get them on L TV or M TV and not XL just because you think its already good value espeically as they are paying less.

once you start putting channels that were exclusive to XL TV onto your other tv packages you are offering less exclusivity for the same money which means XL TV looks less of a bargain and so its devalued. regardless of what happened in the past with channels being added its about what is happening now not what happened in the past afterall the channels that were made non exclusive were once XL TV only.

i know its only a few obscure channels but its still taking exclusivity away from XL tv regardless of how much you say its not !!!
