It seemed like a genuine question to me, and I like to think I can tell the difference between an honest question and attempted theft. We see plenty of both on here.

As I have already said, you can physically attach a TV direct to the cable, in any area where the analogue signal is still active and the cable is still attached to a tap in the street cab, and get 'free cable' that way. And you can go down to Maplin and get the cables and connectors necessary to alter the position of the VM equipment inside your house.

VM may not like you doing any of the above, but if you were a subscriber the most they could realistically do is cut you off ... if you're not a subscriber, what then?
