java is an unknown quantity at this point
Wink Re: Starview

you really think that the people that setup IKS are stupid there severs are rerouted via multiple proxys also if there using a cloned modem they will more than likly have it setup to change the Mac every few hours

most IKS are setup by the STB manufacturers so they can still sell thier inferior products

also no coders said that N3 would be cracked two weeks after ireland got hit (well no well know coders) a few coders have said it will be cracked after N3 is fully rolled out (but i cant see it myself) i work in a tech roll and have seen N3 in action and the control the provider (in this case VM) has over it is amazing

unfortunately there will always be freeloaders but one good thing does come from it all, they push the security industry forward

personally if i was VM i would of gone for IPTV but then they do have to deal with DOS attacks as i belive its still vulnerable to this type of attack

also with new IKS systems poping up all over it will give VM a chance to put its deep packet inspection system to the test unless the operators of the IKS systems work out how to add better encryption and extra info into the header of the keyfiles but it will be intresting from a security point of view to see how VM will tackle the out of control freeloader problem but it will always be a case of cat and mouse
