Needed to get to the garden shed for a shovel to clear the drive. Outside our kitchen door is a kind of lean-to with storage, workbench, tumble dryer etc. Door from here to the garden wouldn't budge. Turned out that since the cooker hood vents into this area (the tumble dryer vents outside), as the moisture-laden air blew through the gaps round the door, ice formed and sealed it solid. Some hair-dryer time and a few kicks later, then a fish-slice (it was nearest, OK?) and we broke through to freedom!

Now what was it I was supposed to be doing?
