			The PS3 helped win the last format war for Bluray.
 Now the new 3D bluray specification has been specifically designed, it appears, to make sure that PS3's will need only a firmware upgrade to be able to run 3D bluray disks.
 
 Given this one it would be hard not to assume that whatever kit works best in 3D with the PS3 is going to come out the winner? Remember there are 3D games, such as avatar, available now so Sony have a head start on recruiting the early adopters.

 Also I can see this possibly driving the use of projectors in the home over TV's. You can get 3D ready HD projectors for a lot less than a grand so we  could have the situation where a 3D projector and huge screen costing less than a 3D TV.
