If he spends it will catch up with you eventually. It's insane the debt United have. £80 million on interest? It's unmanageable. If United were to drop out of the Champions League places it would be a disaster.
Fergie can spend now, it will just make the problem worse. I predict he will continue to spend but his successor will deal with the fall-out.
