They told me that a text can take 2 days to arrive so they have no control over it. I am pretty sure a few tweaks could be made so that you can receive these texts during sociable hours.
Just a text could be a serious text. My next door neighbour got a text from her daughter just before christmas saying that she was lost and drunk
