Yes the tube prices have shot up the last year or so, quite extreme compared to the price increases on national rail! £8.40 a day is stupidly expensive
It just doesn't make sense to me. Especially considering the volume of people on the underground, we stuck in overcrowded trains where you sometimes quite literally cannot move while in transit and have difficulty moving when the doors are open and they charge us £8.40!?! Something is wrong here!
