IMO, you should specify all your settings as normal for freeserve, ignoring relay and set the smtp port to 587.
When you said you tried 587 without success, you didn't say which server name settings you were using. Sorry for troubling you with this repeat suggestion if you were using the standard freeserve serever names.

my outgoing server needs aut is ticked
use same setting as incoming ticked

incoming at 110
outgoing 587
ency type ssl
still no outging so is there anything wrong here. Thank for the help
