My Services
Hello fellow Virgin Media users,
Right, I live in a flat at the top, theres 2 tennants beneath me and I suspect somethings going on. The tennants directly beneath me are accessing services from Virgin for free or on my behalf. I spoke to Virgin last week and the lady told me my modem may of been a victim of some sort of fraud so they come out and fit a new one. I've always turnt my services off when not in use, considering the current climate its a must to save the pennies but it seems like when i turn my services off the tennants beneath me can access services, I'm not crazy I have my suspicions, one being them throwing fits when i turn my computer on or the tv, its happened more than afew times so it made me think. the guys a junkie, theres no point me asking whats going on because their getting one over me by accessing services i'm paying for, not many if any would admit that. I now leave my modem on even though my PC is off, will this make a difference? I have a WebSTAR EPC2100R2, the cable and power lights stay solid when the system is on or off and the PC & data - send & receive flashing when the system is on. For the past few days I've taken interest in this so I've kept an eye on my modem and system, its been fine but yesterday and today when booting up my local area connection took a little while to connect, it had a explanation mark on the icon in taskbar on desktop, this happened when my old modem was in when they got use of the broadband while mine was off. The guy who come and put in the modem said the cable line is separate but I know for a fact their still accessing what I'm paying for. I can't really afford to keep my pc running all day every day, can someone please help me out. Many thanks in advance
