Cable Forum - View Single Post - change from wired to wireless on virgin??

ive just checked and on my modem it says that its a cable modem so it must be a cable connection right... but the router what im looking on getting is a modem router so i wont require that modem anymore. so would i not need to tell virgin that i am using a different modem?
