AFAIK the ssid has not been disabled, and the other equipment (PC) which is also wireless connects fine.

I think the laptop is XP but I will have to confirm when I get home as I didn't take much notice of the wife's laptop.

I use the Linksys manager software at present, which shows all devices past and present seen by the router, so not sure what you mean by "hidden in windows"
