Great result for City, really thought a draw was the best we could hope for. Thought it was a pretty entertaining game in which Chelsea started showing there true colours, i.e. petulance and arrogance when things didn`t go there way.
City`s midfield really seemed to have a good grip on the game and Chelsea didn`t look that threatening for most of the match. Just in the period before Lampard missed the penalty did things on the pitch seem to start going a bit Pete Tong, but i suppose most teams which had to change both full backs would take a bit of time to adjust.
De Jong had an excellant game disrupting the Chelsea attacks and even Robinho did his fair share of getting back, sometimes causing a few heart stoppers but mostly ok (wondering if the fact it was Chelsea had anything to do with that?)
Glad we did the other half a favour, hopefully later on in the season when were after that Champions League spot the can return it
All in all a good day for the Manchester clubs...
